On April 18th 2008, St Thomas’ Church in Chesterifeld, England was the host of Artfully AWARE’s fundraiser: “Music for Change”. It was an exciting evening of entertainment from highly talented performers, Vocal Fusion and Tristan Ash.

Vocal Fusion is an A Cappella vocal quartet that was formed by four students at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2003. They are recognized as one of the country’s most exciting vocal ensembles with a special reputation for distinctly personal performances, as well as encompassing a wide variety of repertoire to suit all occasions.

Tristan Ash features Artfully AWARE’s Music Co-ordiantor Ashley Radford, performed at the event with beautifully arranged acoustic pieces.

Proceeds from ‘Music for Change’ was for Leukaemia Research Fund as well as Artfully AWARE. Proceeds for Artfully AWARE was used to fund Arts Co-ordinator Evonne Hill to join the group on their trip to Uganda in June 2008.
